A Special Note for Our Servicemen and Women:

As we start our day here at Eagle Mountain, we would like to take a moment and bow our heads in prayer for the families of the servicemen that have recently been killed in duty in Afghanistan. On Tuesday (today) five of our servicemen gave the greatest of all sacrifices. We have lost nineteen soldiers since Saturday. As we try and absorb this information we would like to pray for their families and the families of the servicemen and women who continue to fight for our country. We know that they and their families sacrifice everyday for our country and for us. There can be no greater honor than service to ones country and ones countrymen. Thank you to all that have served, all those that are serving now and to those that feel called to serve in the future. Thank you to their families as they sit up at night and pray that all is well, as they miss holidays, first days of school and dinner with the ones they love. Know that your call to duty is appreciated. May God bless them and keep safe.

“Those who have long enjoyed such privileges as we enjoy forget in time that men have died to win them.”–Franklin D. Roosevelt
